That is a sign that the capacitors that filter the power supply ripple are bad. There is no schematic for it but if you have it unplugged and you take it apart, you can see where the power cord comes into the unit and goes to the power supply board. There should be a transformer nearby. There is usually a board that has some semiconductors on it as well as capacitors. The capacitors need replaced.
This doesnt' look like the motherboard right away. First I would try the unit with another power supply. Using a power supply tester may let you know that the unit can give power or turn on but does nto mean the PSU is able to work with a load.
Many time dell will still have the lights even though the PSU is bad. On the back of the unit when you hit the power button. There should be status messages etc that can tell you if the unit detects issues.
Hi Julia,
Your unit missing some output voltage(s) in the power supply section. This is commonly caused by open/shorted voltage regulator IC, open fusible resistor, leaky/dried electrolytic filter capacitor in the power supply section. You can't fix this kind of problem if you don't have necessary tools and test instrument, don't know safety precaution. But good news, you may replaced the entire board for your convenient. Click the link below to have an idea how much money you are going to spend on the board.

If you still wish to save some money, I would advice you to send your power supply board to repair shop. There's some shop that repair only the power supply board even not sending the entire unit. It will charged you a much cheaper.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.
Hi, Normally this would indicate that the diode in the power supply for the Magnetron (microwave radiation emitter) has failed. I would recommend that the unit be serviced by a professional in this area, or disposed of because of the following:
1 The power supply for Magnetron Tube the produces thousands of volts and can produce a lethal shock even though the machine is turned off and unplugged. Really, I'm not kidding.
2 Working on a Microwave Oven can expose you to high levels of Radiation which can immediately Damage internal organs.
That said, there is another even better reason. 3 Microwave Ovens are now very inexpensive to replace.
Even though I personally know how to fix them, I can't be bothered.
I hope I have been of help Happy New Year, Best, Mark

Zero cross error
§The zero cross signal is detected three times even though the heater relay is off when turning on the main power.
§The zero cross signal is not detected for 2 seconds even though the heater relay is on after turning on the main power or closing the front door.
§The detection error occurs twice or more in the 11 zero cross signal detections. This error is defined when the detected zero cross signal is less than 45.

1.Check the power supply source.
2.Replace the PSU
It sound as though your power supply unit went bad. You can look up your TV find the Service Manual that will list the power supply unit that goes with your TV. Maybe you can have some luck finding a replacement that is working even through your manufacturer. Replace that part isn't to difficult use regular caution. Since you didn't list your model number that is just about all the help i can give right now.

Did you check the power supply? They go bad and if you get no power, nothing else will work. You can check the power supply by plugging the unit into an outlet and then using a volt-ohm meter measuring the voltage at the cylinder which normally plugs into the computer. If there is no voltage (DC) present, then the supply is bad. You can get a replacement online or at the place you purchased the unit.
it may also be your power supply unit even if the led is on on *********** board power supply may be faulty so try to find a power supply to test *********** board before replacing .
it could be a busted power supply. check if the green LED lights in the motherboard when the unit is plugged (even if it is not turned ON, it will light). If the led is not lit, the power supply is defective.
Does the unit comes on by itself once power is applied to the unit? If it doesn't come on by itself, then there is a problem with your power supply. The unit is designed to detect when an external power supply is applied and turn itself on. It is also designed design to detect if you unplug the unit from the external power supply. It will say "Lost external power, shutting down in 30 seconds". BTW are using Garmin cables?
It is an emachine T5026 and yes, it is the motherboard.
I turned my emachine T5026 off then tried to turn it on and it would not start.
The main switch will not stay on.
