How to adjust the temperature - Refrigerators

If you are unable to adjust the temperature of your Paula Deen digital 10 Qt air fryer by 1 degree and it only increases or decreases the temperature by 10 degrees when you press the + / - buttons, it is likely that this is the way the air fryer was designed to operate. I see that you would like to know how to adjust the temperature within your Electrolux refrigerator, EI23CS55GS1. To adjust the temperature you would use the control panel on the front of the freezer door. There should be a "-"or "+" near the freezer temperature control and that is how you would adjust the temperature within your refrigerator. Be sure to check and make sure that the control lock is not on or you will not be able to adjust the temperature. Any adjustments made within the refrigerator need at least 24 hours to stabilize. The factory presets your temperatures to the MID / MID setting of 0? for the freezer and 37? for the refrigerator. Refrigerator adjustment range is -15? to +15? in the freezer and 33? to 47? in the refrigerator. Depending on ambient temperatures the temperatures will be + or - 6? the set point. Whenever you make a temperature adjustment, you need to wait 24 hours to notice any temperature difference.

To adjust your temperatures: Adjust controls according to your Use and Care guide. Start out by making sure your settings are at the factory setting of MID / MID. Make only one adjustment: Adjust one control and wait 24 hours before making another adjustment.

To measure temperatures: If you try to measure temperatures, it is important to follow these directions: Fresh Food Section: Put thermometer in a glass of water. Check the temperature during the first door opening after a long (8+hours) non-usage period (such as overnight or when you arrive home from work). Frozen Food Section: Put thermometer between two bags of vegetables. To Adjust the Oven Temperature (do not use Bake or Broil while adjusting the oven temperature): note: Your oven control was factory set in the (Fahrenheit) °F Temperature Display Mode. To change for (Celsius) °C, see page 15.
1. Press & hold the BAKE key pad and release after the display shows the factory temperature setting of 00. note: If the oven temperature has been previously adjusted from the factory setting, the current temperature adjusted value will appear in the display instead.
2. You may increase the oven temperature in 5°F (1°C) increments with each press of the uP arroW pad to a maximum oven adjustment of +35°F (+18°C). You may also adjust the oven temperature downward in 5°F (1°C) increments with each press of the doWn arroW pad (total range of -35°F to +35°F (-18°C to +18°C).
3. If you do not want to keep the display adjustment, press the clear oFF pad before the oven control beeps. This will cancel the temperature adjustment procedure. To start this procedure over again begin with step 1 above OR;
4. If you want to keep the adjustment, wait until the oven control beeps once.
5. The oven temperature adjustment has be accepted by the oven control and the display will return to the time of day.

First, run the control and thermistor test:

Control and Sensor System Self-Test (0 7)
This test checks all five thermistors located throughout the unit. Once the test is initiated, the test code (0 7) will stop flashing and the thermistor test results will appear on the freezer display in the test order listed below. The thermistor test sequence number will not be shown on the display. If the unit is not equipped with the Quick Chill option, the third thermistor (quick chill) will display a 0 and 3 audible beeps will sound at the temperature control panel. This is not a failure if the unit is not equipped with the Quick Chill option.

Thermistor test results:
• P = Pass
• 0 = Failed
• S = Short to 5 VDC
• B = Bad amplifier

When testing has been completed, do the following :
• Enter code 1 5 to completely reset the system. Then press the Hold button (or any other button than a temperature button) to accept the code.

When you're done, unplug the refrigerator for 10 seconds and plug it in....if it does not run, the board is bad.

Oven Temperature Adjustment Option for the MSG5770
If you think the oven should be hotter or cooler, you can adjust
it yourself. To decide how much to change the oven temperature,
set the temperature 25°F higher or lower than the temperature
in your recipe, then bake. The results of the “test” should
give you an idea of how much to adjust the temperature.
To adjust the oven temperature:
1. Press the BAKE pad.
2. Enter 550° by pressing the number pads “5, 5, 0”.
3. Press and hold the BAKE pad for several seconds until 0°
appears in the display.
4. Press any number pad to change the temperature. Each time
a pad is pressed, the temperature changes by 5°F.
• Press repeatedly to reach +35°F. Continue pressing
to reduce the temperature up to -35°F.
• If the oven temperature was previously adjusted, the
change will be displayed. For example, if the oven
temperature was reduced by 15°, the display will
show -15°.
5. When you have made the adjustment, press the
CANCEL pad and the time of day will reappear in the
display. The oven will now bake at the adjusted
temperature.
NOTE: Do not change the temperature setting more than
10° at a time before testing the oven.
It is not necessary to readjust the oven temperature if there
is a power interruption. This adjustment will not affect
broil or clean temperatures.

Adjusting Oven Temperature
Oven temperature has been factory calibrated and tested. If
oven consistently over or under cooks food, adjust thermostat.
Oven temperature can be increased or decreased 35°F. To
avoid over adjusting oven, move temperature 5°F each time.
1. Push BAKE pad.
2. Press + pad until an oven temperature greater than 500°F
shows in display.
3. Immediately push and hold, approximately 5 seconds,
BAKE button until “00” appears.
4. Press + or - arrow pad to adjust oven temperature.
• To increase oven temperature (for a hotter oven), Press
pad until a positive number appears in display.
• To decrease oven temperature (for a cooler oven),
Press pad until a negative number appears in display.
5. Press OVEN CANCEL pad to save adjustment.
• Setting is saved if power fails or is disconnected.
