Question about D-Link 802.11g Wireless Router WBR-1310 (WBR1310)
I have 2 wireless computers with my router
Both tell me I am connected however I can not get on the internet....it says i have to contact support
First you need to isolate the problem. See if you have connection if you remove the router and have the computer connected to the modem. Then you may have to contact your ISP, the problem might be with them. If you have your computer connected to the router via a cable and have it working you may have to configure your wireless. You may have to assign an SSID or a wireless network name. If you do not have it working you may need to do a little more configuring on the router such as setting it to PPoE if it is DSL and you were given a username and a password for your internet account or you may have to clone the MAC address of the working computer for some cable ISP. You may also want to power cycle. Turn all devices off for a minute and then turn the modem on and once all light is stable turn on the router and see if it helps.

Did you contact support?
It may take some time but you pay for the service and it's thier baby...You could get lucky and get a support guy that knows what to do! OR you can get into the router and run the "setup wizzard" thingee...Befor that you could try doing a hard reset on the router by inserting a paper clip into the reset (ususaly on the back or bottom) then do a search for wireless networks and connect "anyway" Anyway because you WEP or anyother security settings will be gone...if you get in then, you need to find the address of the modem, something like 192.168.0.1 (Dlink) and run secrity thingee to keep other's from accessing the web through router...I recomend calling the service provider first! then the tech. line for you router manafacturer for thier help. It's not hard once you get the hang of it. Oh did I say "Pray about it first!"......Happy computing!
