Hi there,

It seems that the heater not getting hot properly, means its a time to changing the heating element.
but first you try some cleaning, clean the heating element.
note. unplug this unit before yo do anything...

Good Luck!!

Thanks

Why is my heater blowing cold

Most likely it is the heater control valve that shifts air from blowing across your heater core to your air conditioner core.

If your fan works and your car is fairly new..meaning your heater core isn't dirty and full of craap...then it is the climate cotrol valve.
If you are lucky, it might be a thermostat that is bad and blocking hot water from entering your heater core. Bottom line, if hot water doesn't circulate thru that little heater core, you won't get heat.
You might be able to look under the hood and grab the hot water lines that go thru the firewall and feed your heater core. If they feel cold to the touch after engine has warmed up, then you aren't getting circulating water to the heater core. If they feel nice and warm, then the heater core is fine, but your climate control valve has closed off the fan that blows across the core to disperse heat into the cabin

No heat in audi A4 1.8 water gets hot and circulates

Are both heater hoses hot when the heater is on? Look for the water control valve to see if it's letting water into the heater core. The core could be plugged too.

Heater just buts out cold air

Any leaks in the system(do you have to add water regularly?)? Check the heater control valve- it allows hot water to circulate through the heater core. Could be bad.

My heating is not working properly it starts and then after a while radiater light goes on and off n then heating stop working but i get hot water ok

Hi,

In most cases problems with the circulator pump boil down to two problems.
The most common is air in the lines causing an air lock.
The next problem is that the pump gets stuck and is not running even though it may be hot and seem to be running. In this cause the pump can sometimes be taken apart, cleaned and it will work, but usually it needs to be replaced.

Here is a tip that I wrote that will explain circulator pump problems in more detail.

I can't seem to find the thermostat in my 2000 Chrysler LHS 3.5 L Is it in the manifold at the end of the upper radiator hose or elsewhere? I've seen so many answers and haven't yet found a solution. A...

If you were to take the upper radiator hose off the engine, and look into the resultant hole, you would see the thermostat.

The thermostat on all cars blocks water leaving the engine and going to the radiator, until the thermostat warms up enough to open.

While the thermostat is closed, water circulates through the heater hose, straight back to the inlet of the water pump. This circulation prevents hot spots, distributing the heat evenly to warm the engine up, and also brings that warmed water to the thermostat.

When the t-stat gets hot enough to open, water leaves the engine instead of circulating through it, and that allows cool(ed) water to flow from the radiator through the bottom hose to replace the water that left through the upper hose and t-stat.

The stub that the upper hose attaches to on the engine should be part of a small housing that is bolted to the engine. Removing that housing is how you remove the t-stat.

Your circulator provides the draw necessary to fire the heater. You are defeating the purpose of this kind of heater by circulating the water. Add a second heater to fix this engineering fault.

you don't have a circulating line in it,, there for it is pulling the hot only,, when you have the 2 systems you have to have it circulationg or take 1 out, it being it is hot water they will vapor lock,, meening no hot water , you could get a circulating pump that actually hooks to the cold and hot side under the sink far away from the water heater and it has a timer on it that will circulate the water at certain times of the day,,, this would solve your problem
