Toshiba satellite 1900 wireless network adapter?

on checking the specs of this it does not have a wireless adapter look at my post on usb wireless adapters

The Toshiba Satellite has a helpful program -- the Toshiba Wireless Manager -- to eliminate some of that frustration. Connecting to a wireless network using the built-in wireless usb wifi adapter on a Toshiba Satellite may require making some initial changes to the Satellite's settings. These changes can be made using the Toshiba Wireless Manager. As with all wireless networking, the settings of the laptop must match the settings of the network.

you lost your PC drivers, You must find driver for network adapter for windows7, after install it apdate you drivers for windows 7 from toshiba.com

Hi, Please make sure that you have turned on the wireless switch on your laptop because this is a message that usually appears if the wireless on the laptop is disabled.Also please update the wireless drivers for your laptop from the Toshiba website. Try to update the wireless driver, also update the firmware (BIOS). it will fix your problem, it is software conflict.

Hi,  Please do the following: Start>Run>type devmgmt.msc>under device manager>Right click on Wireless network adapter>uninstall, once done, click on scan for hardware changes on top. the network adapter would be back on its place. If that doesn't resolve the problem, reinstall the driver for wireless network adapter using the link given below: http://www.drivershq.com/Drivers/Toshiba/Satellite/L305-S5894/4183/9941/42341/Drivers.aspx

Not enough info per problem description. Not all 1900 series laptops have wireless cards installed, and not all 1900 series laptops are ready to handle wireless cards, either. Need to know what model your computer is, what wireless card you're using, ... C'mon. Let's have it...

if you are using windows vista

go to control panel
go to network and sharing center.
on the left side go to manage wireless networks.
remove all the wireless networks and restart the computer.

plenty of wireless network may affect and confuse the wireless adapter.

if still having the same issue then you will need to visit toshiba website and download the drivers.

I think you have answered your own problem, your wireless has possibly been zapped.
To test your ethernet adapter on your laptop connect it to a network hub, check the hub and see if you have a link light on the hub and or laptop..
To test your wireless router, connect it to a known working computer with a network card and check the router configuration, using the browser, if you cannot access it then its zapped.
