Question about KitchenAid Dishwashers
Does this always happen? If it's always ben a problem, check the outlet hose to see if waste water is siphoning back into the dishwasher. This happened to me. I just moved the hose under the sink into a loop with the top of the loop ABOVE the drain connector. Think upside down U !! Some newer installations use an air gap device to prevent siphoning; this is usually visible on the counter near the sink. If this gadget gets clogged up for some reason, the anti-siphon function may fail.
