Question about Hoover U6437-900 / U6439-900 Windtunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum
You have to have it in the carpet setting in order to put pressure on the v-belt. there is no way to tighten up the v-belt, but i would try to replace the big flat belt. if you haven't changed this belt in over 6 months, i would change it. ( on average belts need to be changed every 6-8 months). the reason is that the belt streches over time and doesn't have enough tention to ingage the v-belt in order for the brush to work. hope this helps
