SOURCE: Neff U1721 Double Oven - No Heat

If the fan is running then it is unlikely to be the clock/timer. Yopu need to check if there is voltage to the element but you MUST be careful to avoid an electric shock. There is sometimes a thermal cut out in line with the supply from the thermostat and that would need to be checked. If all OK the thermostat is the likely offender

SOURCE: Neff U1721 bottom oven not heating fan & light are ok

Yes it will need a new element, if the fan runs and temperature light comes on then the element is gone.

SOURCE: Neff oven not heating have replaced fan element

it has to be the temperature control itself...thats the only other component, aside from the high-heat cut out switch which rarely goes bad.

Bosch HBN7052 - main fuse tripping even after replacing the heating element

It appears there is too much current (electricity) being drawn towards the element, seeing once you replaced it, it worked fine for 5 minutes and then tripped again...I believe the problems lies within the wiring going towards the element, or the thermostat that controls the amount of current coming towards the element. Instead of turning off at a desired temperature, its not and continuing to heat up to the point of tripping the fuse. Try replacing the thermostat.

Blows mains fuse

This tutorial will show you how to check your Smeg element and how to replace your Smeg cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
  1. Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Smeg manual.
  2. If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
  3. When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

Switched bottom oven on, then noticed it had tripped fuse for cooker in main fuse box. Swithed it back on and it wouldn't heat up. The fan and light were ok! Top ove? grill works ok still.

sounds like you have a heating element burned out. Look real close at the heating elements and you may see a hole burned in the metal tube. This is a sure sign of a bad element. Some elements are easy to unplug. Others a real pain. Always unplug and or turnoff breaker prior to unscrewing anything. If you fine the bad element just unplug and other element may work OK. Best to get your model number and search net for new element.

My omega europa oven is not heating up .grill fan

Sounds like a faulty fan oven element. To replace: Disconnect from power (usually easiest to switch off at fuse box). Remove racks etc from inside oven. Remove rear panel inside oven- four screws. You will now see a heating element that goes around the fan- often you see blow mark on element. You need to remove the back panel of oven to access the nuts that hold element in- two nuts, undo nuts, remove wiring from element. New element available from any good appliance repair shop. Reverse procedure to refit. Happy fixing!!

No fan or heat

Hello..... have you (a) checked that you have power going to the oven...(b)...With the power to the oven switched off open the terminal block (where the cable from your socket enters the oven) check that all connections are secure....(c) remove the rear panel of the oven and check that the safety stat is ok.......(usually small square white or gray unit wit two wires running to it found on rear of main oven...it is usually fixed to a bracket or directly fixed to the cabinet...test for continuity with a multimeter if open circuit ..that is no meter reading relpace it

MAIN HOUSE FUSES TRIPPED, RESET, OVEN AND GRILL WILL NOT HEAT UP

It would appear that the tripping of the switch has caused some kind of short within the cooker. I would look for the continuity of the heating element.

Most likely the wires leading to the heating element have burnt and will need replacement. If you are comfortable with attempting a DIY, well and good. You will have to open the back panel to access the said wires. It should be easy enough to identify..it will be the wire leadingto the heating coil.

If , however, you are not familiar with these kind of things, I would recommend getting a repair guy to do it for you.

Cheers and good luck with the repair!
