Question about Televison & Video
The screen is blotched tan somethings about ready to go out on it
Hi , it seems you are experimenting a light engine problem. Here's how your tv works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLLHnQ4y-wo Basically there's 3 LCD chips that create the colors and image by blending together. When these chips start to melt you will get those blue spots, pixilation even vertical lines. You will need to replace the light engine replacing the bulb will not solve your issue. Have a blessed one!

The blub burned out and its 300 to get replaced. I just had mine replaced and the mirror cleaning and the screen cleaned but I still blotches all over the screen but I was brighter. In my case its the might engine, which is 2000 worth more then the tv. Now I was told that the engine could be cleaned but it would not be perfect.
He looked at me the tech and said, your getting a new tv. I would suggested a flatpanel lcd. He said he never gets calls on those.
good luck. Jason N
