Question about Fisher and Paykel Fisher & Paykel Washer
I have a Fisher & Paykel GWL03 (or 08 as it it known in the USA) the machine powers up as normal but will not start any wash cycle. Checked all switches and in diagnostic mode, ( I can manage to get in there at least but I have no codes) I can get the pump and the solenoid, both hot and cold, to work. After switching the machine out of diagnostic mode all the wash cycle lights light up.
i'm not sure if the fisher and paykel machines are any different in new zealand compared to where you live, but the only thing i can think of if it isn't displaying a fault code is if this machine is fitted with a reed switch(these make sure the machine stops if the lid is opened during operation) this may be faulty and staying open causing the machine to stop when the lid is closed. Hope this helps.
