At fixya, we do not have a warehouse of parts, manuals, ect. We work at home answering questions only. You have to contact the manufacturer for parts.

What size glass tray do I need for my Westinghouse model WCM770B/W microwave? I broke mine and cannot find the answer in the manual.

Frequent thrift stores or yard sales, or take a tape measure to the inside of the microwave
. If your dish was square, the glass plate should likely be about 1 inch less wide and 1 inch less deep that the inside of the box.
If you have a round plastic rotator, the dish should be about 1 -2 inches bigger in diameter than the plastic rotator.
God bless your efforts.

Maytag Over The Range Microwave: Melted glass turntable, rollers

Considering the melting pooint of glass ...

Normally, microwave travels around round surfaces (Look at the B-1 for example) If you put flat metal in a microwave, you will create sparks ... lots of em. Is it possible you have something going on with one of the wheels ... like a piece of tin foil?

At a minimum, I think id be inspecting everything inside very carefully and then give it a good cleaning.

You might want a pro in your area tale a look at this as well.

Turntable wheel under glass tray broken

If the microwave comes with a roller ring to rotate the glass turntable then I would recommend that it needs to be used when the microwave is operating, as the turntable rotates the food so it can be heated evenly.

I would recommend checking with your local Panasonic repairer he may have access to a new roller or even a second hand one to tide you over.

Kenmore elite microwave/vent hood model 721.80834500 turntable

I bought a Kenmore Elite Microwave Hood Combination Model 721.80823500 at Sears. The installer did not bring the parts to connect the vent to the pipe on the ceiling and never came back. I cannot find the vent/exhaust connetor part to have it installed. No one knows. I appreciate information or installer. Thanks.

Broken glass tray

Even though these are discontinued, there are apparently a few places where you can still get one of these as "new old stock".

The proper part numbers are either MW-7600-11 or MW-7600-12 and you can order one by part number here.

It may take a week or two, and they may reply back that they were unable to find one, in which case they will not charge you.

If you can't find one, you can check eBay or Wal-Mart and other stores to see if they have a Rubbermaid or Nordic Ware (NordicWare) wind-up turntable like this "Micro-Go-Round". (I've seen them at Wal-Mart).

In some cases, two microwave-safe plates can serve as a makeshift replacement for a missing tray. You have to find a saucer that fits securely on your turntable support, though. I've attached a photo of that, too.

Good luck.

Broken Glass tray

That model number isn't showing up. Could you confirm that?

Then I'll see if anything is still available for it.

Otherwise, here are two suggestions:

You place a microwave-safe saucer upside-down on the roller assembly (if equipped) and then put a microwave-safe plate right-side up on top of the saucer. You can also use another glass turntable tray that doesn't fit instead of the plate.

Be sure both are centered, checking them frequently to be sure shifting does not occur. Otherwise, a spill of hot material could result.

Another option is to check eBay or Wal-Mart and other stores to see if they have a Rubbermaid or Nordic Ware (NordicWare) wind-up turntable like this "Micro-Go-Round".

Rotating ring/ Glide tray comes off the track -Elite Model 80803

Take your round glass tray and plastic three wheeled hoop to a local Sears store, open up the microwaves on display, find the one that is still using something similar, deftly trade out yours for theirs. The new wheeled plastic hoop wheels are slightly bigger and the glass tray raised guides are a bit longer, since the switch no problems like I had. Don't get caught. They do not have those parts for sale at the local Sears store.

Turnaround glass tray problem

Sometimes they get heated up and bend up in the middle so they don't make good contact with the coupler. The way I fix this is to heat the support over a stove flame, then place a heavy weight on it so it holds the legs up in place a bit until it cools. Here it is step by step: 1. Apply heat at points where each legs meet the hub (stove flame) 2. Place end of each leg on an object so that the bottom of the hub is held up about 1/8" off the work surface. 3. Place heavy object on hub so the bottom touches the work surface. 4. Let it cool. 5. Test it. 6. If it still does not work, increase the height of objects in step two.
