Signing up for an Amazon Prime membership sets you up to automatically pay/renew each year. You can cancel the account during the free trial period or turn off the automatic renewal at anytime.
To end your membership immediately:
contact Xbox Support. If you cancel immediately, you lose access to the service for the remainder of your paid subscription period.
To end your membership at the end of your current term
To cancel your membership at the end of the current term, turn off auto renewal by following these steps. With automatic renewal turned off, your membership will expire at the end of its term.

LOL, never heard of a software requiring you to know the key to renew. Normally when you don't know the key, that's when they want you to renew or purchase it.
here are some options: 1st option click on my account at the top, and then at the side there are different links, click on deactivate my membership or somehting, then click on the second link when you get onto that and it completly gets rid of your match.com account. theres no need to hide it or anything it is gone:) 2nd option:In order to permanently delete your profile you first need to make sure you've cancelled the auto-renewal of your subscription. You can do this by ringing 0800 368 58 58. You will need your customer account number (check under my profile - personal details) and they will ask you for your email address. They will try to offer you some kind of special deal or whatever, and if you insist (as I had to do) on canceling they will ask your reasons why - bloody nosey aren't they! I just told them it was personal. Once the auto-renewal is cancelled you should, within a few minutes, receive an email confirmation. Then go to My Account - My Personal Info, scroll down and click "Suspend my profile." Only in the page which this link brings up is, finally, the option to permanently delete your account - which is another small link at the bottom of the page. Enter your username and password. It will then give you the option of terminating immediately or waiting till the end of your current subscription period. Laborious isn't - deliberately so I suspect. 3rd option:So you can hide your profile and then cancel your subscription under the account tab... it clearly states that you can reactivate it within a year... if you don't then it will be permanently deleted... takes a whole year though. In the meantime, just deactivate your account and your profile will be hidden. 4th option:you go to match.com and click account and on the left side it says cancel member ship type in your password and click continue cancelation
To play ONLINE Call of Duty then you will need a Gold account. I am assuming that you had bought a 3 month membership to Gold and that is why it has run out?
If the Xbox 360 is used then you still might have a few free trial periods free for 1 month Xbox Live. If I recall previously you could load up to 4 trial accounts. So try just creating a new user profile and see if it doesn't give you one month free for that account? If not then the previous owner has used all the trial accounts.
Make sure you don't use a credit card when signing up to Xbox Live though... it will automatically be set to charge you for renewal when your Gold Account runs out.
If you have to get a Gold account then I recommend you purchase the Live cards at your local store. Some people go onto Ebay and find cheap deals... but I have heard of a few people complain when getting cards that don't work.
On the screen, it will ask you a series of question, and you will need to provide the user id (email address) at the end of it you can access the account again by renewing old password.
Good Luck! Please add comments if you still have questions. Don't forget to rate please.
