Error 1015 in iTunes iphone 3g Model no a1241...

  1. Disconnect the USB cable from your iPhone, but leave the other side connected to your Mac or PC
  2. Launch iTunes
  3. Press and hold down the Home and Sleep/Power button on the top of the iPhone to turn off the iPhone
  4. Press and continue to hold the Home Button while you reconnect the USB cable to your iPhone, this will cause the iPhone to turn on
  5. Continue to hold the Home button until an alert message in iTunes informing you that an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected. Your iPhone is now in recovery mode. If you have not launched iTunes, you will see the familiar screen of the USB cable pointing at the iTunes logo signaling to connect the iPhone to iTunes to start recovery.
Once you're in recovery mode, you can either restore the iPhone or adjust the firmware as necessary.
After restoring or upgrading firmware, your iPhone will automatically reboot and exit recovery mode on it's own.

I changed my password on my phone and cant remember it

If you forgot your iPhone passcode you can bypass the lock screen completely and reset the passcode by using iPhone recovery mode. This will get around a locked down iOS device that is stuck on the password screen, but there are some important considerations to take before proceeding.
Warning: This will require you to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. That means you will lose all data on the device and be back to factory settings as if the device was brand new. This should be considered a last resort.
Requirements:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that is stuck on the passcode screen
USB cable to connect the device to a computer
Mac or Windows PC
iTunes
Those are the core requirements, if you have those you can proceed to reset the missing passcode.
Bypass & Reset the iPhone Passcode
As mentioned above, this also will work on other iOS devices.
1.Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, leave the other end connected to your Mac/PC
2.Launch iTunes
3.Press and hold the Home and Power button on the top of the iPhone to turn off the device
4.Press and continue to hold the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to your iPhone, this will cause the iPhone to turn on
5.Continue to hold the Home button until an alert message in iTunes appears that an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected
This is the general message you will see:
Now that the iPhone is in recovery mode and has been detected by iTunes, you must restore the device:
From iTunes, look under the "Summary" tab
Click on the "Restore" button within iTunes
This will wipe all files, settings, and apps from the iPhone, including the passcode. When the restore is finished, the iPhone will be at the factory settings. At this point you can choose to start from scratch or to restore the iPhone from a backup that is either stored on the computer with iTunes, or by using an Apple ID and restoring from an iCloud backup. Both of those are very simple processes and you will have the option to do so once the device has been rebooted and is back at factory settings, where the initial setup screens will greet you.

Iphone stuck on apple logo

  1. Connect the iPhone's USB cable to your computer, but not your iPhone.
  2. Turn you iPhone off. If the phone won't turn off in the traditional manner, just keep holding the buttons until the screen goes dark.
  3. Once you've turned the device off, press the home button on the face of the device and plug in the USB cable to the device's dock connector.
  4. When it turns on, keep pressing the home button until the iTunes logo appears on the screen.
  5. You'll know the phone is now in recovery mode because a window in iTunes will tell you.
  6. You can then start the restore process by clicking the "Restore" button in the iTunes window.

To reset your iPhone settings,

picexporterror From the home screen, Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

Still having problems?
Try deleting all the existing settings.

Note: The step given below will delete all the data on your iPhone. It will also give a reset to your settings.
From the home screen, Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents and Settings.

Or:

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond

  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for 10 seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Let me know if this helps or not, there are other resets available :

If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

My 3gs iPhone is stuck in restore needed/emergency call mode. I've tried to sync to different computer...same problem. iTunes does not recognize and then when I try to restore it gives a 23 error or 2001...

Use the following steps to place your device into recovery mode. If the device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.

Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the the iPhone or iPod touch to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPhone. When you reconnect the USB cable to iPhone, the device should power on.
Note: If you see the screen pictured below, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure the battery has some charge and then start with step 2 again.Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button:Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.

When using recovery mode, you can only restore the device. All user content on the device will be erased, but if you had previously synced with iTunes on this computer, you can restore from a previous backup. See this article for more information.
