The power supply for the 8825 base is to be 13 volts AC, rated at 850 milliamps or higher. You can go anywhere from 13 up to 15 volts without hurting the unit, and a higher current rating is even better. We actually make them ourselves through bulk purchases of varieties of power supplys. Your next delimma will be the plug size, it is a pretty common size, most universal adapters will have the right size of the outer and inner connections.

I dropped my Siemens Gigaset 8825 and now it has problems. Sometimes it shows ''time out errors''. The cordless phones all say ''searching''. Sometimes the ring sounds strange or there is no ringing sound for an incoming call. Sometimes when dialing out it won't accept or display all the digits.
