The ice maker is easy to remove once you get the drawer off the slides. There are two plastic clips located near the back of the drawer that attach it to the slides. Pop those out and lift the drawer out. Pull off the plastic ice maker cover to expose the mounting screws. Remove the two screws holding the assembly to the top of the freezer, then slide the ice maker forward about 1/2 inch. It will drop down a few inches, allowing you to unplug the wiring connector and remove it as a unit. The ice full guide is then easily removed.

Look at the slides and see if there is a button, or possibly a machined strip of metal, that releases a latch that keeps the drawer from falling off the end of the slide.

No, you don't need a new drawer. You need new drawer rollers. They are cheap. Just order them from your local dealer

Check the sides of the drawer on the dishwasher and make sure that the sliders that the drawer rides on are not locked in place you will notice on the front of the slider near the door panel there are plastic clip like press in tabs that hold the drawer securely in the tracks try to put your hand up under the door and move the track if the track moves in the slider you will need to hold the door secuely with one hand while sliding the track to the most open position on the slider track. if the sliders are not locked in you will be able to pull the slider forward and the slider should clip into place.Repeat this for both sides and the door should operate like new once again.

hi i have the 700tc as well,,ok the best way to place the drawer,,,extend the 2 sliders all the way out,,there is one pin at the end of each slider and 1 hole on each side of the drawer lip which lays on the track ,,,the holes on the drawer must fall into the pins otherwise it will not close,,,so place the drawer on top of the slider ,,,what usually happens is the sliders tend to roll back into the housing of the fridge,,,so while the drawer is resting on the sliders reach under the lip of the drawer and pull each slider until the the holes of the drawer falls into the pins,,,when the drawer is seated in the pins it will close smooth,,,hope this helps
