Need image of jumper settings for l7s7a2 rev 1.1 motherboard

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) Support > ECS L7S7A2 > Main Support page,

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?CategoryID=1&DetailID=267&MenuID=24&LanID=0

Click on Download.
(Features /Specification / Download / Support / FAQ / etc)

Click on Manual.
(Driver / BIOS / Manual)

Scroll down a little, click on the country name nearest yours, next to the Green Down Arrow.

A small window will come up on the right -
Opening l7s7a2_eng11a.zip

Make sure there is a Green dot in the small circle, to the left of - Save File.
If there isn't; left-click in the empty circle to the left of Save File.
Now go below in the window, and click on OK.

A small window will come up on the left.
Allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.
In the next small window click on - Extract all files, to the far left.

In the next three small windows click on Next, Next, and Finish.
Finally in the last small window, DOUBLE-click right on the file name, next to the red Adobe PDF icon.
(L7S7A2_en...)

There is the motherboard manual, and the jumper settings.

IF, you cannot open this Zip file, suggest go to 7-Zip, download, and install. It is a free 'un-zip' program.

[ A Zip file is used to send large amounts of information more easily.
A Zip file is a compressed file.
You need to 'un-zip it', or uncompress it.

Requires an 'Un-zip' program.
WinZip usually comes with Windows, but may only last so long, because it is a trial version.
7-Zip is one of the free unzip programs, NO trial.
I use it ]

[NOTE*
I DOUBLE-clicked on the file name - L7S7A2, and a warning 'Squawk Box' came up from Microsoft.
Click on Run. It is OK I assure you.

[ Small primer;
Microsoft assures users that the program they are about to use, is free from Malware. (Virus, spyware, etc)
To do this they check the program out, and certify it to be OK.
This cost $$$$$$ for the software manufacturer.

Costs for the main program check, and EACH time a user downloads the software.
This = NO to most software manufacturers.

Most of the time the software is free, WHO in their right mind is going to pay each time a user downloads it? I wouldn't.
Also if I am a reputable software company, or pre-built computer company, I wouldn't either. ]

IF, somehow you cannot download the motherboard manual:

Motherboard oriented as it sits mounted in the computer case;
Processor to the Top, Ram Memory slots to the Right, 5 white PCI slots to the Bottom;

1) To the Left side of the Processor socket is a jumper.
FIDJP1

CPU (Processor) Ratio Selector
(Multiplier)

Two columns of 5 contact pins.
Contact pin on the Bottom/Right is Pin 1.

Pins on the Right side are numbered ODD.
Pins on the Left side are numbered EVEN.

Starting on the BOTTOM of the Right side, going towards the Top;
Pins 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.

Starting on the BOTTOM of the Left side, going towards the Top;
Pins 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.

Jumper on pins;

A) 1 and 2 - BIOS checks the Processor out, and automatically sets the Multiplier. (CPU Ratio Selector)

B) No jumper used -> 10.5
C) Jumper on pins 9 and 10 -> 6.5
D) Jumper on pins 7 and 8 -> 8.5
E) Jumper on pins 7-8, and 9-10 -> 12.5

F) Jumper on pins 5-6 -> 9.5
G) Jumper on pins 5-6, and 9-10 -> 5.5
H) Jumper on pins 5-6, and 7-8 -> 7.5
I) Jumper on pins 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10 -> 11.5

J) Jumper on pins 3-4 -> 10.0
K) Jumper on pins 3-4, and 9-10 -> 6.0
L) Jumper on pins 3-4, and 7-8 -> 8.0

N) Jumper on pins 3-4, and 5-6 -> 9.0
O) Jumper on pins 3-4, 5-6, and 9-10 -> 5.0
P) Jumper on pins 3-5, 5-6, and 7-8 -> 7.0
Q) Jumper on pins 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10 -> 11.0

The JP1 jumper is to the Right of the bottom white PCI slot.
(No.5 PCI slot)

3-pins going across in a row.
Pin all the way to the Right; is Pin 1.

Starting from the Right side, going towards the Left;
Pins 1, 2, and 3.

Turn computer OFF.
Put a jumper cap in Pins 2 and 3 for 5 seconds.
Remove the jumper cap, place back on pins 1 and 2.

Resets CMOS memory.

Just in case you are referring to the Front Panel header;

The front of your computer is the Front Panel.
The area of contact pins on the motherboard, that the main wires go to, is the Front Panel header.

The Front Panel header is to the Right of the CMOS battery, and is located next to the right outside edge of the motherboard.

Two columns of pins.
IF, I am reading this correct; 5 pins on the Right side, 4 pins on the Left side.

Pins on the Right side are numbered ODD.
Pins on the Left side are numbered EVEN.

Starting on the BOTTOM of the Right side, going towards the Top;
Pins 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.

Starting on the Bottom of the Left side, going towards the Top;
Pins 2, 4, 6, and 8. There is NO Pin 10.

A) Pins 1 and 3 are for the HarDDrive activity LED. (Light)
Pin 1 is for the Positive connection.
If the HDD LED is dim when the harddrive is active, switch the wires around.

B) Pins 5 and 7 are for a Reset switch, IF a Reset switch is used.

C) Pin 9 is N/C. Not Connected. It is Reserved. (Probably 5 Volts for the factory to test )

D) Pins 2 and 4 are for the Power On LED. (Light)
Pin 2 is for the Positive wire.
If the PWR LED is dim when the computer is on, switch the wires around.

E) Pins 6 and 8 are for the Power On switch.

F) There is NO Pin 10.

Do Not know if this correct. What will happen if I'm wrong? We'll start over, and we will use a basic method;

Looking at the motherboard installed in the computer;
The Processor is to the Top, Ram Memory slots to the Right, (Yellow, and Blue), white long PCI slots to the Bottom.

To the right of the white PCI slots are 4 Red SATA connectors.
To the right of them is the black rectangular Front Panel header.

[ The front of your computer is the Front Panel.
The area of contact pins on the motherboard, that the main wires from the Front Panel go to, is the Front panel header ]

There are two columns of contact pins.
On the Left side is NO pin, and then 4 pins.
On the Right side are 5 pins.

Pins on the Left side are numbered ODD.
Pins on the Right side are numbered EVEN.

Starting on the Left side, coming Down from the Top;
NO pin, pin 3, pin 5, pin 7, and pin 9.

Starting on the Right side, coming Down from the Top;
Pin 2, pin 4, pin 6, pin 8, and pin 10.

A) Pins 3 and 5 are used for the Power On switch.

B) Pins 7 and 9 are used for the Power On LED (Light)
Pin 7 is for the Positive ( + ) wire.
If the Power On LED is dim when the computer is on, switch the wires around.

C) Pin 2 is N/C. Not Connected

D) Pins 4 and 6 are for a Reset switch, IF a Reset switch is used.

E) Pins 8 and 10 are for the HarDDrive activity LED. (Light)

IPhone 3GS how insert simcard

Hello, with your iPhone you get a small metal key tool that inserts into the top of your iphone. Look at the iPhone screen to you then turn it to look at the top. Next to the headphone insert, just to the right of it is a hatch with a small hole on its left hand side. Insert said key tool and pull. Insert sim into slot then return. If you cant find the key try a pin, safety pin or paperclip.

Hope this helps

Almost Fixed. Stricker works, but sticking

This part yu take off, the pin goes into a slot that goes around inside a cam. If you have that pin not in the slot you will get this lock up. Try taking the part you mentioned out or remove wht is called the ribbon plate, which is the part where the ribbon sets on, then turn the machine on or wind the printer motor by hand to home out or bring the printing unit to the home or start position, turn off and very carefully install the parts you tokk off making sure the pin in the ribbon lift (The small part yout ook off on the right side of the printer) is in the correct cam track or small track or canal. Once installed you can rotate the motor by hand an see if it moves freely. GOOD LUCK

Take apart MX3000

Please refrain from pressing too ******* the screen. The pressure responsive clear cover in front of the LCD screen can crack, resulting in a defective touch screen. If you truly wish to disassemble the unit, then there is a way. But please understand that this WILL void your warranty.

First, remove the battery cover on the back and unplug the battery pack, then remove the battery pack. Now, if your fingernail is strong enough, you can wedge it in between where the dark colored rear plastic plate and the light colored front plastic plate meet along the sides. Start in one spot, then slowly and gently work your way around the entire remote. If done properly, the two sections should begin to unsnap from each other. Once the back cover is unfastened, be cautious of the black wire connected to the ground shield on the inside of the back cover. Now you'll notice 3 seperate wire harnesses attached to the back plate that plug into the circuit board. Carefully unplug these harnesses. Don't worry if the small, black round device on one of the harnesses falls off the back plate. That is just the small speaker and can easily be pressed onto the back plate again. Once all the harnesses are unplugged, move the back cover around until it is out of your way, without pulling the ground shield wire loose. Now you should be able to see the green circuit board. The next step is to unfasten the wide, flat ribbon cable on the lower left side of the circuit board. Look closely where the ribbon cable is plugged into the white colored slot. On the sides of that slot are small black flanges. Carefully pull those flanges away from the slot to unlock the ribbon cable. You won't have to move the flanges very far. Now gently remove the ribbon cable from the slot and leave it there for the time being. Continuing, you'll need to remove the 4 small phillips head screws that secure the green circuit board to the front plate. You can possibly use a #1 phillips head screwdriver, but a #0 or smaller is preferred. Once all 4 screws are removed, you can begin to gently lift the circuit board away from the front plate. Be cautious while letting the ribbon cable slide through the slot in the circuit board. Once the circuit board is removed, you should be able to access the rear side of the lcd screen assembly. The screen assembly simply snaps onto the back side of the front cover plate via 4 small grey plastic snap studs. If your screen was already crooked in the remote, then one or more of these plastic snap studs may be broken. If so, then a few small drops of hot glue may help hold the screen in its correct position. Now, if the screen assembly was already in the correct spot, but the internal sections of the screen are what were misaligned, then it may be beyond self-repair.

This is as far as I can help with this. I'm sorry if I left out any steps, as I'm trying to conjure this from memory.

Good luck.

Konica 3135 p17 error, wont go away

Check the rear side of the machine in the opening. You should see a small tab on the rear side of the door. This tab is supposed to go through a small slot in the cover that would then contact the door sensor/switch to tell the machine that the door is closed.
If you located the little slot, you can try rolling up a piece of paper putting it in the slot and see if you can trick the machine to think the door is closed. If you can do this then you know that the sensor/switch is working and then you would have to concentrate on the door tab that is supposed to go through the sensor. Unfortunately, if you get the machine to think the door is closed with the paper trick, you still wont be able to make a copy cause the door needs to be closed in order for the rollers to feed the paper upwards. But at least you would be able to narrow it down.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I even still have some contacts for parts if needed.
Please remember to leave a feedback if my suggestion helped.
Have a good day.
Mac.
