This is the second cat-chewed-a-wire question tonight.
The only thing to do is to replace the entire cord. You could cut out the chewed section and splice it with **** connectors and electrical tape, but you have a nice iron with a 12' cord. I believe Rowenta uses Torx screws on their irons.

In the 'After Sales Services' column, click on 'Service Centres' and look for one close to you. Perhaps you can order a new cord and use the old cord as a chew-toy decoy.
