WD-65738. Why no picture?

When I turn on the television, the picture does not appear. The light on the front of the television is solid green. The odd thing is that part of the display does show. For example, I can make adjustments to the display. When I turn off the television, the Mitsubishi logo appears with the phone number. It seems if the bulb was blown - I would not see anything. The screen appeared fine prior to this problem - no white bits.

Check your cables. That is what it sounds like. Also try the system reset button. you "might" have a power supply issue with bad capacitors but check the cables and system reset first.

I have a WD 65738. While viewing a program, the color becomes distorted, along with a humming sound. Status light stays green.

Hello, it sounds like your color wheel is going bad. the humming noise is usually the bearing in it going bad and it starts to distort the image and finally it will shut the set down because it is malfunctioning......tks

I have a wd-65738 TV . Heard pop no picture with

That pop was probably a capacitor blowing up in the power supply. Could be another power component too. Get an estimate from a TV repair shop first to see if it's worth fixing or flat screen TV time.

Mitsubihi WD-65738 no power, no lights. Is there a fuse I can check? Maybe by the plug?

Follow the power cord inside to the power board--line fuse will be there--have fun and patience as a lot of screws to remove to get there---as seen from rear power board should be to far left side.
