Question about Maytag M7DH65B2A Dehumidifier
Had the same problem. Make sure you tighten the house a little with
pliers. Also, make sure the dehumidifier is up a lot higher than where
you're draining it into. Mine drains into a utility sink. But I have
the dehumidifier propped up onto a dresser. I cut a small piece of
hose to run into the sink. Seems to be working now.
It will take 5 min or so to establish a water flow, so be patient after you hook everything up. Good luck.

The main drain is clogged and water is backing up in the water tray. If the humidifer is not perfectly level it drains at the back of the tray and down the inside of the unit. I just took mine apart for the same reason. The filter does not do a very good job and the fins and tray were full of lint partially clogging the drain.

I taped down the float in the container so that the unit would not shut off when the conainer filled up. The water now is going through the drainage bypass .
