Sounds like 1 of 2 things 1. You have your phone muted :) 2. Your microphone does not work
A simple way to test your mircophone part would be to, if it has one, if your phone has a voice memo or voice recording feature use that and try and record your voice if it doesnt work, replace the phone if it does we're one step closer to figuring it out.
I'd start with that
Also check your manual for a phone reset feature and try that as well

I have the reverse problem. Callers can hardly hear me.
I saw a setting in the headunit that allows you to specify where the audio plays for incoming calls. You can choose the Left Front Speaker, the Right Front Speaker or Both. Check the manual and make sure its set to both.
