When the timer, clock etc didn't light up my oven stopped working. Replaced the clock display unit and all is now fine. A simple switch over just remove one wire at a time and place it on the new unit, the only difficult part was gaining access to remove the display unit itself.

SOURCE: SARENA SK400X BOTTOM OVEN WONT WORK BEACAUSE LED TIMER HAS BURNT

Look for the relay on the timer and the 2 wires that goto it.

Basically short the 2 wires that goto the relay and job done.

If there are more than 2 wires be careful as you may blow a fuse if it's connected incorrectly.

Homeking oven hof605ss

Try turning off the circuit for a minute, then set timer again.
Often a little picture/icon of a "baking tray with heat" when timer is passing power on to the thermostat.
Also, those timers fail often enough, is the oven brand new (or recent blackout)?

Display is dim

Hello Friends! This dimming vacuum display is either caused by a power supply failure with the control board, or a the filaments of the display themselves have started to wear-- similar to that of a bad light bulb. Either way, FixYourBoard.com can solve this problem. Contact them 512-355-1108 for more information. The photo below is from a double oven, but we repair single oven displays too.

I have a Bosch double oven. The upper oven works fine. The lower oven does not work at all. After turning on the oven, when I turn the thermostat, nothing happens, even the light is not on. Thanks

Hi there
i would first check that your timer is not set to auto if it is switch off cooker at mains wait 5 seconds then switch on and set time, if this is not the problem it sounds like the overheat cut-out located at the back of the oven cavity is at fault.

I have a Fisher & Paykel OS302. The temperature and oven mode selects are dead, no LED display, no operation. The clock module is working. This happened all at once, I tried to turn it on and both...

This sounds as if the electronic clock timer is in automatic mode. It must be in manual mode for the oven to work. Turn the oven on and play around with the timer controls/buttons. When the oven indicator light comes on the clock is in manual mode.

My GE wall Oven Model #jctp18ba1bb is not working.the board is blankm the only thing that works is the oven light. Is there any kind of thermal fuses etc. in this oven.thge control board was replaced 8...

When you say board I assume you mean the electronic clock/timer. This timer directly affects the oven operation. Even if the internal oven fuse is blown or the thermal overload is tripped the electronic timer and oven light will always work. If the oven light works and the electronic timer/clock does not I'd say that the timer/clock is faulty.

The oven tripped the main fuse switch to the house while on and when i restored power the clock on the oven came on but nothing else works no grill, oven, fan or lights ???

you have to set the clock befire anything works .if you have done that its could be that the element has failed and the fault current has damaged any of the contacts in the circuit which can be themostat ,timer contact thermal cut out contacts. failure of the timer contacts would leave nothing working
