When it turns on all i get is a blue screen. It is a brand new computer. How can i fix this problem?

if a blue screen pops up with white writing theres something seriously wrong with your laptop a blue screen on a computer is the worst possible thing that could happen apart from the thing actually exploding and can be caused by a wide range of things, my suggestion would be to reinstall windows as it will basically give you brand new computer with no errors

blue screen errors are usually from a malfunction of the ram memory ...an fatal error of the system ...or a change of hardware without re-installation ...so ..if you know that your system its intact and has to work ...usually re-installation of the operating system ...I mean a brand new one ...not repair or upgrade...but one with formatting C partition ...will fix this problem ...also restore bios settings to the factory optimal defaults

Take it back and buy a recognised brand monitor looks like yours could be a melon .Even a second hand one by Acer would be better.

if its a CRT monitor then you wont have a problem, the all get decrepid and loose color flicker then eventualy die.
i say use it till it dies then get a new one or get a new one befor it dose damage to your eyes, a nice TFT screen will do.

I had this exact same issue with mine. Started noticing the "blue cloud" on the bottom portion of the screen.

Please follow this link and the instructions listed. I opted for an "upgrade" that was offered (brand new 46" bravia lcd) but sony had also offered to fix my tv for free.

First we need to diagnose:

- Try to change Memory sometimes they can cause blue screen.
- Try to change Hard Disk also can cause blue screen.
- Try to reformat and reinstall the O.S

Try to reinstall windows by repairing it.

1. Uninstall the drivers for the card.
1.5 Turn pc off.
2. Unplug the card.
2.5 Turn on pc. Make sure the pc does not detect the wireless adaptor.
3. Turn pc off again.
3.5 install adapter then turn pc back on.
4. When windows tells you it has found new hardware, click the option to specify your own location for the dirver, then point to the cd that came with the card.

If all this still does not fix it, the you know its the adapter and to take it back.

This same solution works for any new card added to a computer. I have seen this same problem with the old scuzzy cards at work.
