If you are indicating that you know for a fact that the brushes are good, that indicates that you are knowledgeable and handy. That being the case, hot wire the motor directly to the mains and see if motor runs. That test will tell you all you need to know and where else to look for remedy.

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 four-wheel drive automatic factory Air Cruise tilt 5.7L engine, I need to know how to hard wire the blower motor

1am
the blower has 2 pins
the blower is just 12vdc brush motor,
and 1pin is ground and one is 12vdc
  • unplug it first or cause a nice fire.
  • then hot wire it. if wired backwards the motor turns backwards
if blower is weak reverse the connections.
Id use a 30amp fuse as the jumper plus wire, inline fuse
unless brave, and fuse-less.
if brave unplug it when done, do not just walk away from hot wired any thing.
be safe ok> and GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!

I have a 1977 chev truck with a arctic plow recently the solenoid failed on the electric motor I replaced with new one at the same time I removed motor from pump and inspected brushed and cleaned motor...

My personal suggestion would be to go for these repair catalogs. I know this website reliable-store.com that I used to buy them from,
and they have online it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.

Treadmill (Vision Fitness T8500) turns on, motor doesn't run...

open motor shroud and inspect all connection on the motor control board see if all LED 's are lit except that light up when incline motor is moving up or down. then check the two connector coming from the drive motor to the board sometime over time the two connector will have a cold soldier I would move them to see any excessive movements of the pins then hit start and see if there is any belt movement. Last but not least unplug unit and check the motor brushes if they are less than 3/8 in in length replace them. Call them @ 1-800-335-4348 they under their parent corp. Johnson fitness.

Brushes don't spin

Remove the bottom cover and replace the broken drive belt. Check that the brush will rotate freely--likely everything is jammed with hair and dust. The brush assembly should just lift out of the case and the end bearings will pull off. The brush needs to be removed to install a new belt anyway. There should be a diagram that shows how to install the belt (it has a half-turn twist).

Treadmill Incline Works, belt does not move

Check the drive belt. It may be loose or broken. If the belt is loose, then to tighten the drive belt, start by removing the front cover. loosen the bolts around the motor then tighten the drive belt by tightening the motor adjuster bolt. Once the drive belt is tight, tighten the motor back down.

Carbon Brushes wearing out quickly on Kirby Heritage II

4 possible reasons.
1 – one or both bearings are worn so armature (rotating part) wobbles as it is spinning and cause motor brushes to wear fast. Solution – change bearings too.
2 – Whoever replaced brushes – did not use some brush seating sticks to make cmutator smother and contour brushes to the shape of the comutator (not likely). Solution – appropriately install new set of brushes.
3 – Comutator is so warped that seating sticks do not help anymore – solution – new armature or turn the old armature.
4 – The fact that ONLY ONE brush was worn may mean that there is something wrong with the brush or housing. Maybe it could not move freely within the housing? I think this may be most likely cause it it may be a combination of all 4.Is it worth to fix? Hmm depends how much will it be. If this is 100+ - I’d say get newer Kirby for 300 ad enjoy the tech drive (Heritage does not have tech drive so it is much harder to vacuum with than the newer models)
