How to replace power window regulator 2002 dodge dakota

Purchase replacement part first.
If you need motor only it might come without regulator.
Either way when you have the new part(s)
It will give you an idea of what has to be removed
look for plastic covers (round) or screws and remove them under the covers are screws also remove those.
neer door handle there is always a screw or tab.
on the pull handle (big one) there are 1-2 large screws remove those.
look near mirror area and remove any plastic covers. may be tabbed or screwed in??
usually lifting lightly and looking under the trim with a flashlight will tell you what is holding it.
remove plastic from around handle area.
pry lightly on the bottom and see if you have to lift up or straight out.
either way usually an up and out motion is required at same time.
tabs lift out easily while the push in plastic tabs may be more strong. if they stay in the door remove them later with trim tool. looks like a dandelion puller. then put them back on the door trim whre they came from for later installation.
If door has plastic film pull it away from the door and don't get the black stuff on you. Sticky!
Then find if regulator is bolted in or pop riveted in.
remove bolts or pop rivets and dont pinch your fingers but separate window glass from regulator.
This is the fun part you will have to find a hole to pull it out of. usually there is only one choice. and that is the biggest hole there.

Gas line leaking by engine how do repair that?

Where is it leaking? If its at the fuel rail fuel pressure regulator you may need a new regulator if leaking on the metal part. If its leaking at the rail side its just the "O" ring. Relieve fuel pressure(push in valve under plastic cap right side beside alternator on rail. Remove the torx screw holding regulator bracket. Pry out and replace "O" ring, reassemble. If its not the regulator it may be a fuel injector, you need to remove the fuel rail and replace both the upper and lower injector "O" rings. This however needs the intake manifold removed to repair.

In need to change the fuel pressure regulator but I need to know where a 4.3l engine

The fuel pressure regulator is mounted inside the intake plenum. You'll have to take the top half of the intake plenum off and replace the fuel injection spider.

Window regulator

remove the door panel wiring harness from the switches, the plastic noise reducer, then the regulator has a few bolts holding it together. Raise the window glass to the top the remove the regulator, install the glass on the new regulator, then put all the bolts back in place, adjust the widow for level and frame fit before tightening all the bolts, once fitted tighten, replace plastic sheet, wiring harness, terst window at this point, to check all fits. If OK, install the door panel. You can buy new regulators from a salvage yard to save over half the cost of one at the dealer or parts stores.

Why wont the top portion of my agitator spin? It appears there are plastic gears within the top portion of the agitator. Can these be inexpensively replaced?

Whirlpool, Roper, an Kenmore are the only brands with rebuild able agitators. Any other brand will need a replacement agitator. The parts are about 6 to 8 dollars.
Here are some instructions I recently posted for someone else with a similar problem on an older whirlpool washer. If you need more specific instructions or the model you have is different let me know and I can look up the parts breakdown and give you step by step repair instructions.
Does the lower half of the agitator still operate normally? (Back and forth) Can you spin the top half (spiraled part) of the agitator in both directions with out the lower half moving? If so then you have a worn set of agitator "dogs" they are little plastic ears located in the upper half of the agitator and catch the notched inner section of the agitator to make the top action work like a corkscrew, slipping one way and driving the other as the lower half goes back and forth.
To get at these parts you will need to remove the agitator, Remove fabric softener dispenser or cap on top, and look down inside tho opening.
You will need to remove the plastic cover inside that has two ears sticking up, pull on one side or the other and it should pop out, there will be a rubber seal around it so it will be a little difficult to remove.
Now you will have access to the bolt that holds the entire agitator in the machine. The agitator dogs are located right on the outer edge of the center cup that the bolt goes through. To access them you will want to separate the two halves of the agitator and flip the top half upside down while holding your hand inside it to catch the cup with the dogs in it. Part number 80040, for the dogs.
Good luck to You!!

The agitator tries to rotate, but instead jerks, but doesn't rotate in normal motion. It also makes a ratcheting snapping sound.

How to get to drivers side window

first, on the interior handle, carefully pop off the cover. remove the two screws underneath. there may or may not be screws on the farthest lower part of the door panel and there may or may not be a screw under the door latch pull handle. it may be hiding under a cover under the handle. but i'm pretty sure it has only the two under the large handle. once the screws are removed, seperate the door panel from the door starting at the lower left corner. there are clips which will pop out of the door when you pull on it. sometimes you have to pull really hard. once the door panel is removed on the bottom and sides you need to lift the panel up to get it off of the top. you only need to raise it by about an inch and you will know when its released. now you must disconnect the wires going to the lights/switches. now should be able to see the regulator. you will not iether be able to see the window, or just see a large silver or black piece of metal with a bunch of 10mm screws around it. do not remove the window motor. disconnect the plastic clips which slightly protrude through the metal first. press on the center of them and the pin will slide out, then you can push the rest of the clip through. once the plastic clips are disconnected you can remove the 10mm screws and slightly take down the large piece of metal. you will probably have to disconnect the wire that goes to the door latch. it can be very difficult. once the wire is disconnected you will be able to see the window. oh wait. i missed a step. before you remove the 10mm screws, you need to disconnect the window from the regulator. to do this, you must pop out the two large (2 inch diameter) rubber plugs on the top of the large metal piece. then you need to raise the window until you see the regulator clips that attach to the window. now you can LOOSEN them with a torx socket. i believe it's a T30 size. once you loosen them two turns, press in slightly on the screws until they pop in a bit meaning that the clip is loosened from the glass. now you want to remove the window glass through the top of the door. it will come out you just have to get it in the right position. now you may continue with the removal steps of the large metal piece aka window regulator. if your window regulator appears to be broken, they sell a fix kit at the vw dealer for around 25 dollars.

Broken power window mechanism in the drivers door, on a 1993 Toyota Camry. How do you get the inside door panel off?

Remove the plastic screw covers at the forward edge of the door. Remove the 2 gold coloured screws.
Using a flat blade screwdriver, insert the blade above & below the locking thing at the door handle, pry up and down, top & bottom respectively. Slide & pull the handle out, remove the rod going to the handle.
Remove the 2 big screws for the door panel. 1 is under a small trim cover, the other is under the armrest
Remove the lower light & unplug it (if you have one) which may be under the arm rest (it pops out)
Press the centers of the 2 round push clips that are on the rear edge of the door panel and pull the clips out
Remove any screws at the bottom of the door panel (if you have them)
Starting at the bottom of the panel pull straight out with steady, even pressure as to not snap the plastic clips. After the bottom & side clips are disconnected from the door, lift the top of the panel straight up.
Remove the plastic sheet that covers the inner shell of the door.
Uning a 10 millimeter socket, remove the bolts that holds the window onto the regulator
Remove the window, up & out thru the top of the door
Unbolt & replace the regulator.
