Question about Brother GX-6750 Typewriter
My typewriter is fairly new and was working perfectly until a day or two ago when I think I accidentally hit a key which changed it somehow. Now I cannot type the keys 5,6,u,i,k or l. When I tried to print the demo, I discovered that my Backspace key does not work at all. Someone told me that I had hit something that took it out of the English mode. My User guide does not refer to this. There is an answer to a similar prob in your troubleshoot column which states to hold the code key and keyboard key at the same time. I have nothing marked keyboard key.
Open the case and remove the switches
you will see metal contacts, with a screwdriver pick up sligtly and gently each of them
replace the switches and test them
