The digital display on my Fossil JR-7747 has gone blank. No difference even with new battery. Is there any way to get a replacement works for this model as I really like its simple lines and appearance.

If you replaced the battery you self you didn;t ground out the dig memory. if you open up hte watch nere the battery the id a small hole in the movment with a little tiny hole and there will be and airow pointing to the hole . you need to put a small paper clip down the hole to the bottom and then touch the other end to the top of battery. that should clear the memory and you problem

392, also known as SR41W
Possibly two, as display is usually powered separately from time movement.

The hands have stopped on my Fossil Big Tic watch but the digital display still works, like the seconds.

This watch has 2 batteries so sounds like the main one has gone flat and the display one is still going, you just need to get the battery replaced.

Brand new watch won't work

Check your users manual if your watch have two batteries. If yes, you need to replace digital part battery.
If your watch has only one battery, your digital screen or plate is defective. Bring it back to the retailer and ask to replace for the decently working watch.
But first of all try to fiddle with all pushbattons- sometimes it helps.

Fossil Big Tic Watch - setting the correct time on the digital display

The watch is scrolling through the seconds, and is not something that needs to be set. If there is a bottom it is only there to change the way the seconds are scrolling? There are many different types of these, but most are just standard seconds.
