Question about Canon PowerShot A75 Digital Camera
Instead of seeing what you want to take a picture of in the viewing screen all you get is a purple background with wavey lines. All of the other electrical functions seem to be working a appropriate.
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
