Visit hp.com. they have had a big issue with many of their models. you may be entitled to use the enhancement warranty for bad motherboards. but your issue is the motherboard. below is their link. i had a unit replaced because of this issue, but hp has dropped many units from their list after the 24month period. one of mine is not on there anymore. but dont hurt to try

Remove the Battery and press power on for 1-2 minutes with out AC power .
Please turn on the laptop with only AC POWER (without battery ). Check it. it may turn on your laptop.
Press the power button and if it goes on keep pressing the button until it shuts off. Then try to power it up by tapping the power button once.
How have you tested the battery? In my Acer laptop I'm on my third one in 2 years and recently got a 9 cell high capacity one that lasts 3.5 to 4 hours when my original lasted only 1 or 2 hours tops.
hi, The machine is getting the power but no display.This seems a RAM or motherboard issue. 1.Press and release NUM Lock after turning on and if it is responding this is a RAM issue and if not then the mainboard issue but before all refix the RAM once. Thank You.
