Question about EliteGroup L7VMM2 (L7VMM2 NO CARD READER) Motherboard

ECS L7VMM2 Rev 1.0a motherboard I keep getting 1sec beep

I recently bought a new monitor for my pc and now I get no visusal. I searched online through the mfg and no resolution as to what it could be. I went to several forums tried all thier solutions and still no dice.

Did your new montior come with driver disk ?

if not look for the maker online and see if you can find the drivers for it ..

You're board can handel; DDR SDRAM up to 200 or 266MHz DDR SDRAM memory module. Accommodates two "unbuffered", 2.5V 184-pin slots. Each slot supports up to 1 GB with a total maximum capacity of 2 GB. Return the Kingston memory you have installed if it is less than a year old. They should allow you to trade up to the MB's supported memory.

I have a L7VMM2 - Rev 2 motherboard with a Athlon 2400 processor. I have replaced the 2 x 256 Mb ram chips (PC2100) with 2 x 1Gb PC2700 chips. Total memory is reported as 1Gb (i.e. 2 x 512). I am (almost)...


Have you checked the posibility of 512 Mb limit per slot for your motherboard? This is often at some older mobos. The manufacture page for your mobo is here check the revision you own.

L7VMM2 ECS motherboard will not boot.


One long and two shorts is usually:

Indicates a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information.

You seem pretty comfortable with troubleshooting, so here is a reference document ...

Ge force 6200 video card installation


Hi dl1099, your motherboard L7VMM2 can only run a 4xAGP video card as noted in your manual pg. 2 Settings pg. 36
If your not getting video at boot up switch connectors on the video card.
