The H63 glass turntable in our GE spacemaker microwave now has a chip in it. How can we get a replacement one?

Bad door switch. Look for burnt terminals on one of the door switches. Replace the switch and cut off the burnt terminals and splice on new ones.

This is the solution to the cleaning issue.

1. Wipe the microwave inside and out with a soft cloth dampened with a warm, mild detergent solution. Rinse with a soft cloth dampened with plain water. Dry with a soft, dry cloth.

2. Put 2 cups of water into a 4-cup measuring cup. Place the measuring cup in the microwave, then heat on high for 5 minutes to loosen food particles that are stuck to the inside walls. Leave the measuring cup inside the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes, then remove and wipe the interior as in Step 2.

3. Remove the glass turntable and wash it in the sink with mild detergent or in the dishwasher. Handle carefully, as the turntable is breakable.

The problem is in the turntable motor it has become defective "common issue in a number of brands" the only solution is to have it replaced.

GE has parts available at their website , but they seem very expensive. We have a chain of appliance parts stores in Mich called APCO. If you have a simular store perhaps they can help for less. This link is for GE website.

YOU CAN TRY REMOVING THE GLASS TRAY AND TURNTABLE AND REPLACING IT WITH YOUR OLD GLASS TRAY (IF YOU HAD ONE) OR JUST ANY GLASS MICROWAVE TRAY. WITHOUT THE TURNTABLE, I CAN'T SEE HOW IT CAN ROTATE.

Most likely a bad turntable motor - check with www.martinmicrowave.com for a replacement .
