When there are low power problems, the all-in-one may turn off repeatedly. Low power is a common problem in many home offices, because of the number of electronic devices concentrated in one area. To correct the problem, follow the steps below:

  1. Unplug the all-in-one power cable from any power strip or surge suppressor. Plug it directly into a wall outlet.
  2. Verify that the computer power cable, the all-in-one power cable, and the power strip have a three-prong plug.
  3. Reduce the number of devices sharing the power circuit in the office or home wiring.
  4. If the problem still exists, service your product.

Garmin nuvi 40 goes into usb mass storage mode when pluged to charge

I updated my Nuvi 40 with the latest software and it will not reboot into GPS mode with the usb cable connected. It used to work. I have figured out how to get it to charge with a standard USB cable:
1) Power it on.2) Press the battery icon for 8 seconds - it will enter TEST mode.3) Plug in your USB cable from the PC to the Nuvi - the screen will change to say charging.4) Press the power button 3 times rapidly - it will say Charging across the screen and it will go dim and then dark.5) To wake it up and use GPS mode while charging simply press the power button 3 times rapidly, again.
Works Great!

Hp f1903 flat pc monitor goes black after 5

I was given a faulty f1703 by someone as it was out of warranty, had no help from HP and bought another brand replacement.

Same problem everyone else seems to be having. Press the on button, came on for a second or so and then went blank. Press button again, turn on again and the same happened.

I managed through trying time and again after pressing on to quickly press menu, then go down to Factory settings, press select, go down to Yes and press select again. This reset to the Factory settings and it seems to be working okay. Been like this now for about a week. I don't know how long it will last - if it goes again will try re-soldering. Guess I won't be buying HP products as this was a part of a very expensive system.

From the manual:

1) Press Setup.

2) Press 4, and then press 1.
This selects Basic Fax Setup and then selects Date and Time.

3) Enter the month, day, and year by pressing the appropriate numbers on the keypad. Depending on your country/region setting, you might enter the date in a different order.
The underline cursor is presented initially beneath the first digit; it automatically advances to the next digit when you press a button. The time prompt automatically appears after you enter the last digit of the date.

4) Enter the hours and minutes.

5) If your time is displayed in the 12-hour format, press 1 for AM, or 2 for PM. The new date and time settings appear on the control panel display.

Note that if your HP all-in-one loses power, you will need to reset the date and time again!

My hp officejet 6210 has a message reading remove and check color cartridge? And I do what it says and it just repeats and repeats?? Whats wrong with it? Should I buy a new color cartridge?

Hi you can try this may work.

In service mode.
Put Stop/reset 4 times orange => reset waste ink.
Put stop/reset 8 times orange => set level ink.

And try this.

1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press the Power button while pressing and holding
the Stop/ Reset button.
2) When the Power is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button.

For me, it worked when I did this:
1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press and hold the Stop/Reset button for 4-5 seconds.
2) Without letting go of the Stop/Reset button, press and hold the Power button. Then, press the Stop/Reset button two times without letting go of the Power button.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
