You may try removing the battery of your camera and let it stay that way for at least 10 seconds. Then put it back, try to power it on.
if error still shows you may try to reset the camera to factory settings, you may check your camera's menu and look for format...
if that will not work then unit may need to undergo service

Flashing message

The message flashing on the camera is "EXP SIM", which indicates that the lighting conditions for the current shot are not optimal for displaying an image on the back screen and the screen is showing an EXPosure SIMulation of what the final picture -should- look like based on the camera's best guess.

My sony DSC-w120 digital camera flash is not working. Please tell me how to rectify the same

If there is error message on the display and blinking flash, try to initialize the camera. If the problem persists or there is no error message, there is probably no user solution, camera will have to be repaired by service personnel.

Lens error

This may be related/helpful: My S3 in normal home use (no sand, wet or shock) just now displayed the ?Lens cover error? message, with cover only half open. Using a tooth pick I ?eased? it gently and it popped open, took a few trial pictures- fine, but would not fully close unless eased. Now will open and close slowly on own but error message blocks camera use. Then spotted cause - a loose thin sliver of silver trim from below flash around (there?s a gummy substance where it should be). When I first saw one end of this it was between the lens cover and the camera body as tho part of the mechanism, so I did not touch it. Now I know it?s jamming the lens cover operation is it OK to open the camera case to get it out? Questions: (a) Has anyone done this please? (b) Will this clear error message? Thanks.

Camera shows an error E30 message

Hi Chittu, This error usually happens when there's problem reading and writing from the Flash memory card (CF). Did you try to pull the memory card before the camera finished writing data? Here's what you should do - try using another memory card. If it works, it means that the original one is damaged. Let me know if this helped. Please rank this post.

The camera screen displays error message

This error message means that the card is corrupted or formatted for another digital camera. Turn off the camera. Insert a new card or format the card. CAUTION: Formatting deletes all pictures and videos, including those that are protected. Removing a card during formatting may damage the card.
