Question about SanDisk Sansa e140 MP3 Player

My Sandisk c150 is frozen and I've tried to turn it off and push the Hold button then turn it on again, but all that comes up is a symbol of a lock. Please HELP!

    i have a sandisk e140 and he was frozen on "key hold". What can i do? I can not open it... it close automatic after show message "hold key" and the button on side do nothing for this trouble.

In this case on the Mp3 player itself u will see a Hold/Unphold slide switch just slide that switch to the opposite direction and that will fix the problem

You can try to reset the device by pressing the power button for about 15 to 20 seconds..if that doesnt work I would recommend you to go to the sandisk site to update the firmware on your device or you can contact sandisk to they can help you with updating the firmware on your device..Please follow the link below to get the firmware

C150 frozen!
Try a hard reset press and hold vol + and center select button for 20 seconds. Best of Luck.

SanDisk e140 with Mac OS x I got an old SanDisk Sansa e140 that is still working fine.  It work on my PC but my IMac does not recognize it.  When I plug it in, the mp3 player start saying "USB Connected" but no icon appears on the computer's desktop. Can anyboby help me, I have visit the SanDisk forum but there is no solution for the old mp3 player.

Screen backlight works but nothing shows on screen! HELP! Hello, Yesterday, I went to turn my e140 on and it stayed on for a little while and then shut off, so I replaced the battery and pressed the Power button, it turns on, the back light on the LCD works, but no text or anything shows up on the screen, but it still plays MP3's, its so frustrating I cant see what Im playing. Also I updated the firmware and it does the same thing, but this time it wont play music. I want to exhaust all my options before I give up on my Sandisk e140? Is there anything else I can do?
