Hey, i just bought a new graphic card for my computer, an ASUS A9550GE
and ti works fine till i install the drivers, then my monitor will work for about 5 mins, then will shut down and say hertz out of range...as soon ias i uninstall the drivers, everything works fine, but cant play anything with a 3d accelerator requirment.

btw..i use Catalyst 7.8 (modified driver) download from (---http://www.techpowerup.com/softmod/downloads.php-----) bcoz i'm trying to overclocking it now...(-----http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=2716-------)...it works for me and i think maybe worth try for u...goodluck...
I believe the problem is from the herzian synch windows wants to achieve, either too low or too high.
You ought to try with a different monitor, either to set the synch or to make a analasys if it's another problem we're facing, like graphics card or motherboard itself.

PS, everytime it shuts down, it shows a different amount of hertz that is incompatible.
this asus a9550ge seem got some problem...i've already used latest driver...but when it comes to 3d,my monitor goes 'black' and my pc hang....
