HI
The machine has a couple of fuses. They are all special fuses and not easy to find. There is 1 inside the machine under a cover by the pump. It is a special 8 Amp. There is an other one on the back side of the power board This one is a T.35ma.

My Saeco Royal coffee machine is displaying 'empty water container' and it is full - what is the problem

Is the floating magnet in the water reservoir floating ? If yes, you will have to check:
1) the micro switch which is located just beside the magnet (open the machine to check it with and ohm-meter) Check it with a small magnet that you have
2) if the micro-switch is OK with a hand-held magnet the floating magnet may be de-magnetized
3) if everything above is OK, the input on the control board is perhaps defective

Hi
For the Royal Pro there is a button that has a drop sign(water drop) on it. You have to push the drop button to flow water from the steam wand. This should clear the ventilate but if it doesn't check my other tips for "Ventilate"

My saeco royal professional has no power, no lights. What's up?

Hi
First I would check the switch on the bottom left side of the machine and make sure that it has not been turned off.
If it is on you may have a fuse out on the board. It is a very special fuse. It is a 35Ma timed lag fuse When we change them we put in a 50Ma Timed lag fuse with no problems, because the 35MaT is hard to find.

Where is the fuse on a saeco royal professional unit? i lost all the power on my espresso machine and i'm assuming the fuse is the problem but i cannot seem to locate it on the unit itself?

There is a special *amp fuse inside on the back bottom of the machine. It is next to the pump. There is a gray cover over the power filter where the fuse is ;located. You can see the power wires going into the cover. There is also a special .35maT fuse that is on the back of the power board.

No power -- where is fuse?

Fuse is inside the machine. Looks like a black wire thats fat in the middle.

Its either that or the main board blew. I pray it is the fuse because saeco doesn't sell the royal boards anymore from what i understand.

No power to unit

Hi,

If you had a leaking on this type of machine the water will go down to the power switch.

You can take of the top and check the fuse on the printed circuit card, in worst case you have to replace the printed circuit card.
