Miele are the only people that sell spare parts and the drip tray contacts aren't listed. You should always test contact components for continuity with a digital multimeter before replacing items on guesses.

Some Miele machines have a lever to adjust the grind coarseness. Page 27 of the manual below. I would also give it a good clean beforehand to check there is nothing in there that shouldn't be.

It's possible that you have threads wound somewhere inside the machine. Likely places are the tension unit and near the hand wheel.

there is a liltle floating black thing at the back of the container, this works as a magnet switch. see if it is there or is stuck and doesnt raise with the water level.

Check the motor for worn brushes and or noisy bearings while it is removed for service. Any auto mechanic should have experience replacing brushes and bearings. Much cheaper than ordering a new motor. New brushes and bearings should cost around $30. The shop time should not exceed one hour. Miele charges about $50 for brushes if you can not find a local supplier. The W1930 motor that I rebuilt used a 6202Z and a 6201Z bearing set.

The above solution will not work when the machine is stuck on the cleaning cycle. You can plug and unplug it all you like but it will still come back and be stuck on "Cleaning" when you turn it on. I called Miele service and was guided through the steps to access program mode in order to cancel the mode. This is how you do it:
First turn it off using the switch inside the machine (top left with door open)
Note, the four following steps have to be completed within 10 seconds:1 Press the Clear button and hold2 Then press the On/Off button3 Release both buttons at the same time4 Press the clear button 5 times in a row
This gets you into Programming Mode (may take a second or two to pop up if you complete the above in less than 10 seconds
Keep pressing the "More" button (bottom right) until you get to the last page where it will give you the option of reseting the three cleaning modes. Just push the right one ("Cleaning" for e.g.)
That will do it but if you have an underlying fault that interferes with Cleaning then the same problem will happen again when the unit needs cleaning. You should get a service call to address this.
