I have a tread wrapped around inside the threading mechanism. I need to see a diagram to tell you what the thread is wrapped around.

Chances are it is wrapped around the raceway area, take out the bobbin case and take out the raceway if you can, if you have a rotary raceway that goes all the way round you will not be able to and it means painstakingly pulling out all the thread piece by piece

How in the world do i install a RACO model 976 add-a-depth ring to a single gang outlet. it just comes with two screws and some clear plastic wrapping with no instructions. I am installing a tile...

If the add-a-depth is metal it is recommended to wrap the receptacle with some tape. Slide the add-a-depth over the wires that are attached to the receptacle from the rear. That's why there is a split in the add-a-depth, so you can get it over the wires that are attached to the receptacle. Usually you will have to replace the existing 6-32 x 1 1/4" screws with 2" or so. Then pass the screws through the ears on the receptacle, through the holes in the add-a-depth and into the hole on the box. This assumes that the ears will catch the tile. If the ears don't catch the tile, take a 6 or 8 inch piece of #12 wire and coil it around the shaft of a phillips screwdriver. Cut the coil to length and it is now your spacer that goes on before you insert the screw in the hole.

Why is it important to purchase special sunglasses for ski?

Whether the sun is out or not, a good pair of glasses is crucial. They will help protect your eyes from UV rays and the glare of the sun on the snow - which can cause snow blindness. Think about protecting the whole of your eye from potentially harmful rays - choose 'wrap-arounds' or glasses with protective side-panels.
You should check that the glasses are well suited to the contours of your face - there is nothing worse than the feeling of the frames gradually sliding down your nose as you are cruising/racing along. If you are a champion bumps skier, jump specialist or just extremely accident prone then it may be an idea in invest in a pair of glasses that attach themselves securely to your head - either by wrapping around your ears or with a band around the back of your head. You should never skimp on glasses - you only have one pair of eyes.

How do you Fix earphone?

It may be the plug end and not the ear piece itself. Usually the problem is the plug, rather than the phones themselves.

I have a set with one ear piece working

I don't have one, but are you sure the ear piece itself is bad? Usually, the problem is in the plug, cord, or termination at the ear piece. Troubleshoot with an ohmmeter (pocket DMM has one) and repair with a soldering iron.

95 VW Golf, Clutch cable tricks

look above the clutch cable the is a rubber boot, abot 8-10 inches long. If u notice on either end of this boot are rubber prongs, or ears or whatever u wanna call em. Compress the cable by hand trying to bring these rubber ears as close to each other as possible. Once this is done, use a wire and wrap the wire around both ears as this will prevent the cable from decompressing. Might have to compress it by the pedal itself, but should be able to do it by hand. When u wrap the wire, do it in a figure 8 fashion because u have to get all 4 rubber ears otherwise the cable will decompress on one side.

Broken Flexible Flip Clip

I broke mine, and called the company. They sent me a new one. It took two calls to get it, because for some reason the first person never sent the request on to the  out going mail department. No charge to me, either.
