Need the numeric pass key for the blueant s1 car bluetooth. i have a blackberry phone have already tryed 0000 and 1234 doesnt work

The pin code for is 0000, you need to put the device into pair mode prior to entering it in your bluetooth menu. To put the device into pair mode, with the S1 off hold the green button down until you see a red/blue flash. When see that flash, enter the pin code when prompted and it should work.

I am trying to pair my cell phone (VerizonTour) with my PC sony vaio vgc-js 100. my phone finds the pc but then asks for the pc''s numeric passkey. how do i find out what that is?

Your pc doesn't have a numeric pass key. All you have to do is entery any arbitrary number when it asks for the pass key. But you should the remember the number that you entered as the passkey. Once you enter the pass key in the cell phone a similar prompt will appear on the computer asking for a pass key or password or something similar. Just enter the exact same number that you entered in your cell phone. Ofcourse you don't have to do this everytime you connect. Just create a pairing relationship between your pc and your cell phone. Consult the manual of your phone to find out how to do this. This is actually a security feature. It prevents unintentional pairing of two bluetooth enabled devices. It does get kind of annoying at times.

Trying to pair a h12 bluetooth to the 8330, asks for numeric pass key. i have tried 0000 and 1234 it says unable to pair

Is the blackberry in pairing mode? Is the earpiece in pairing mode? They both need to be set. Four zeros should be the passkey.

The default is usually 0000 on most bluetooth headsets, try to find the manual for your bluetooth device, it should say.
