Question about LG HBM-710 Wireless Headset

When receiving calls phone does not ring

I only bought my phone yesterday and so have been busy uploading contacts etc and getting to know the phone. All of a sudden when receiving calls on Normal Profile it will not ring. I don't know whether it is something I did or not and Orange Technicians can't work it out either.

I phoned Orange and they are going to have to send me a new one but I'll have to call them tomorrow because their systems are down. Bit depressing really, especially as I read good reviews about this phone before deciding to buy it,

Lets hope the new one doesn't have the same problem.

I brought a Nokia n70 3yrs bk.. it was working fine until day before yesterday.. but since yesterday when i get a call i am not able to see the caller name or the number from which he is calling.. I am not...

Delete whatever is possible from your phone memory like contacts, or duplicate contacts (same contact saved twice on both sim and phone memory), inbox messages, sent messages, outbox messages, bluetooth received files, etc.. and restart your phone. If possible check the memory and scan it using an updated antivirus. Try accessing the phone without the memory card installed. It's also important to format the memory card if it works properly without the memory card.

Don't forget to Restore it's setting to Factory Default, you can do this from the Settings > press up key once and then "Restore Factory" enter 12345 (if you haven't changed it) when you are asked to enter the security code. Your phone will automatically restart.

If you need further help, let me know.

Thanks for using FixYa.

We just bought a new Uniden phone yesterday. When

You need to adjust the setting that determines how many rings before the phone automatically answers and plays the pre-recorded outgoing message. Instructions will be in the manual, but if you want me to help further please include the model number here as an additional comment.

I bught a kx-ta824, I just have one CO line and i want to put 4 extensions , but i couldn't. I can just recive 1 call and then the line sounds busy.

With one CO line you can only make or receive one external call at a time. You can have extensions connected on intercom calls, but once your CO line is in use, anyone calling in will get a busy signal, as will anyone in the office trying to make an outside call. You'll need additional CO lines if you want to have several outside calls going on at once.

Busy/No Response

Using a cell phone, call your fax machine to see if the fax answers. If it does answer, then hang up the cell phone and fax. Next, using the HOOK button on your fax, call your cell phone . The cell phone should ring and answer the phone call from the fax. If you do not get a connection between the fax and cell, try these: Check that the phone line to the fax is plugged into the LINE jack on the fax, NOT THE PHONE jack. The PHONE jack on the fax is to plug in a TELEPHONE ONLY. If the fax phone line is OK, go into your fax machines' RECEIVE and SEND settings and make sure they are set up properly (pulse or tone dialing, overseas mode, etc.) Print out the HELP LIST as follows: Press MENU button, then 5 on keyboard, then 1 on keyboard. Go through all the settings on the HELP LIST that apply to your problem. (Send and Receive modes, Ring Delay, Receive Options, etc.) Write down the original settings BEFORE YOU CHANGE ANY OF THEM.

Telephone connection problem with DSL

unplug everthing from all jacks in the house. call your # a couple of times. if the line rings, plug everything in 1 at a time, but call again after each hook up. if the line goes dead or is busy, that phone you just plugged in is the problem. [ a short in the phone, computer, answer machine, or any piece of equipment plugged into the phone line.] if the line is busy when everything is unplugged, call your phone company. there maybe a problem with your inside wire.there also maybe a box [called a nid] inside your basment/garage or on the side of your house, where you can plug your phone directly in, bypassing all the jacks in your house
hope this helps.
