Replace the convergence ICs. you will need two of them. They are located on a large aluminum heat sink with STK numbers. They cost about 10.00 each. They need to be soldered in. Its an easy repair if you can solder. Let me know if you need any additional info.

It sounds like a convergence problem. A fairly common reason for thisproblem is the convergence chips have failed. They are usually referredto as "STK" chips since the model number of these chips start with STK.I will put a link to another part of this site where someone has postedpictures and a link where to get the parts should you decide to fix ityourself.
