So I call Panasonic and they said that all you have to do is just hold the track button to the right for 10 sec and it will enter the code for you. I tried it and it really works, after I got pass the code I went to the id code menu an entered my own pass code. So go and try it now and just thank me later. lol
I had a similar broblem with a stereo i just punched in random codes untill it worked because it wasnt factory but if your dvd player is then you should be able to go to a cadillac dealership
I dont know if there is a way to reset it... Look up the manual for the
CQVX100U on the internet, and see if there is a procedure... If not,
contact Panasonic customer service 1-800-211-7262
Turn unit on with remote and open screen. You will be prompted to enter a code. If you don't know the code, you can use this overide to get your unit working again. As stated above (unit on; screen open; prompting code). In the lower right corner you have a 4-way toggle used to skip track, etc. Hold this firmly to the right for at least 10 seconds and the unit should reset the code. Do not let go until this happens. Remember hold it firmly! This will work! You will need the remote to get the code prompt!
