Your camera has an internal memory as well as a card memory. If the camera isn't recognizing the card you could have a couple possible solutions:
Your card may not be formatted or it may have gotten locked.
Pull the card out of the camera and look closely on the edges for a lock switch... make sure it's off.
Reinsert and see if it works..
If it's in need of formatting, go to the menu and look for format card.

SOURCE: Internal Memory Full??

The Internal memory and SD card are different beasts. There is a certain value that alows pics to be taken without a memory card in situe. It is this part that is saying the memory is full Use settings to clear internal meory of photos or files being held. If this oersists even after yoiu have emptied the memory you will need to take it to a Kodak outlet

SOURCE: How do I switch between internal memory and memory card?

When you remove the card, can you review the pictures that are on the internal memory? If you can and you want to save them, download them to your computer. Then, with the memory card still out of the camera, format the internal memory.

SOURCE: Camera keeps saying internal memory is full, even after putting a

Your internal memory is separate from your memory card. Think of it as two folders, the internal memory cannot be removed, and the memory card is one you can take with you. You can put new memory cards in it all day, the internal memory will still have pictures in it. You may wish to consider copying all internal memory to the memory card. To do this, make sure your camera has a memory card in it. View pictures on your internal memory, then from the menu option select 'copy all images to external memory.' In doing this, all of your photos will be moved, you can then clean out your internal memory by deleting everything/formatting it. :)

When I put a 4gig mmc into my samsung 401 digimax the green led light flashes repeatidly and i am un able to use any function. when on its own 16gig internal memory it works fine

If you look at the user manual you will see that it only has 16meg internal, not 16gig as you stated.

It says this: Internal memory:16MB flash memory
External memory: SD card /MMC (Up to 256MB guaranteed)

So it probably can't take a 4 gig card.

It keeps saying memory card is full. Bought a new memory card and put in and it still says the card is full.

Are you sure that isn't "internal" memory card is full message?

Sometimes, when "internal memory card is full" there is no more space in the camera's internal memory. Your camera has 16 MB of internal memory. The number of pictures you can store depends on the picture size setting you have selected on your camera. Keep in mind that the camera always uses internal memory, even if a card is installed (auto default).

If really, the problem is in the "SD memory card", I suggest make some backup all files and reformat the SD. Try formatting it in the camera, there should be a process in your owners manual for doing this; donw formatted SD in your computer, isn't good.

Hope helps.

Internal memory is full

Good day,

The internal memory full message will display when the camera has no more space left to save photos. You can either download the photos to a computer at home or write the photos to a cd and erase the memory to be able to take new pictures.
You can also buy a SD Card that can be used as extra storage. A 4Gig card would be a nice size to add to your camera as it will take a while before you will run low on storage again.

Hope this explains your question!

Regards

CAMERA SAYS INTERNAL MEMORY FULL. I PUT NEW CARD IN. STILL SAYS INTERNAL MEMORY FULL

The internal memory is the memory built into the camera, not the memory you put in with a memory card. This internal memory is rather small. If it is completely full, it will stop your camera working even with an empty memory card.

Take the card out of the camera, and delete some of the photos on the internal memory before you put it back in.

I verified that I cannot format my 4 GB cards in the Coolpix 5700. This camera simply cannot use large memory cards. You should get a 1 GB card for this camera (I verified that 1 GB cards do work).

IBM M51 ThinkCentre doesn t recognize 4gig installed memory

You can confirm this in the BIOS and i'm sure it will show 4GIG. Your Operating system maybe a 32 BIT OS, hence it will only show about 3... GIG. It's a limitation for a 32 BIT OS.

You can only use a 2GB SD card. It is in the manual. I'm not sure on dvd.
