Perform a hard reset of the BlackBerry smartphone.
1. Remove the Battery and Sim Card from your Handset and Re insert it.
If it's still the same problem.
Perform these steps : -
Take a Back Up of your Blackberry Smartphone
- Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer using a USB cable, and open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
- Ensure that the BlackBerry device is connected correctly. The word Connected should be displayed at the bottom of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager screen.
- Double-click on the Backup and Restore icon.
- In the Backup and Restore screen, click Backup.
- Choose a location where you wish to save your backup file.
- Give the backup file a new name or leave the default name in the File Name field.
- Click Save.
- The BlackBerry device has now been fully backed up.
- Back up will be in .ipd file format.
Then in your Handset perform these steps :-
1. Press Menu Key,
2.Select Option Icon in the Menu screen
3.Go to Security Options.
4.then Goto General settings
4.Press Menu key, you will get an option Wipe Handheld select it.
5.Type the password if you get a prompt, default Password "Blackberry"
6.you will get a confirmation message,Data will be Erased.
7.Click Continue.
8.It will start Wiping your Handheld.
9. Once Data is Erased,Handset will Automatically Restart.
To Restore the Data to your B Handheld
- Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer using a USB cable, and open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
- Ensure that the BlackBerry device is connected correctly. The word Connected should be displayed at the bottom of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager screen.
- Double-click on the Restore Tab.
- Navigate to the backup file you want to restore to your BlackBerry smartphone.
- Double-click the backup (.ipd) file.
