Question about Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera
Unfortunately this may be a CCD failure and the camera will have to go back to Canon for service.
However you can try the following and if you are lucky you may get a result
1) Reset the camera to default settings . To do this - enter the menu under the Wrench Icon,T,2 Tab. Press the directional keys to select Clear All Camera Settings and press SET. Press the play key to select OK and the camera will reset to Default settings.
2) Power off the camera and remove the batteries for 30 seconds. Ensure all terminals are clean - replace batteries and power up. This forces a reset.
As I say if this fails there is likely a component failure and camera will have to go for service.
Hope this helps. Please remember to rate my answer. Many Thanks.
