If water is running in, your tubes are not frozen. More than likely it is the arms that eject the ice are not working and turning to move them out. Check that. Ours were moving some, but not all the way around. We called someone out and they said it would be $500 to fix. We ordered the part online after calling the company and getting the part number, it was a $110, looked up the manual online, it took 3 screws removed and 1 connection and me and my mom replaced it. Not as hard as the tell you, just get online and find the manual that tells you how. I promise not hard, we were very proud of ourselves!!

Seems like the timer is sticking. Manually turn the timer one full turn and see if this helps. If this doesn't do it then the timer needs replacing.

See if the fill tube is partially blocked with ice. It's the tube where the water comes into the ice maker.
The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

A strainer before the inlet valve can also get stopped up restricting flow.

Sub zero 650 slow ice maker

Hi Maureen,

Your sub-zero 650 should produce about 8 cubes every 2 hours. It sounds like the heater beneath the ice maker may be wearing out. Ice makers use a heating mechanism to warm the cubes in the mold and force them to easily eject. If the heater is failing in the back slot, it could cause the ice cube to get stuck. If this is the case, you usually need to replace the part or the entire ice maker.

It is also possible the mechanism isn't properly aligned. You could try adjusting it.

You can find two manual on FixYa here: http://www.fixya.com/support/p24667-sub_zero_650_o_bottom_freezer

Otherwise, I suggest contacting their customer service or a technician: http://www.subzero-wolf.com/contact-and-support/index.aspx

Best of Luck!

Ice maker does not run. Tray fills with water and ice freezes but the cubes are not ejected into the tray. Wire loop is down.

You will probably need to replace your ice maker. There is a heater on the bottom that seperates the ice cube from the tray. More than likely this heater is defective, but it is all internal to the ice maker so you will need to replace the whole unit.

AMANA ARB2257C ice maker makes noise/doesn't eject cubes into bin

Hi: First off make sure the fridge is level. Is It too high in front? Making the rear of the icemaker overflow and jam? Also make sure the freezer section is a zero degrees, not just frozen. Ice cream should be rock hard. I hope this helps you avoid calling service. Thank You, Jeff

Ice Maker not working

Get me the model number. Put tap water in ice maker tray and make sure arm is down. Let it freeze. Wait and see if the ice will drop, this should allow water to come into the ice maker for another run. Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Roper Ice maker wont kick ice cubes out of tray.

Remove white plastic cover on ice maker. On bottom you will notice the heater connections, check for voltage. If good, heater is most likely bad.

Maytag bottom freezer ice maker problem of ice removal

Usually low water pressure to the fridge will cause this problem. Not getting enough water to the ice maker will cause the cubes to be too small and get jammed easier. Check to see if you are using a self piercing saddle valve on your water line. If so change it to a drill type valve. This will increase water pressure to the fridge. New ice makers will not solve the problem.
