Question about Efficient Networks SpeedStream 5200 Modem
I have an xbox 360 and I need to set the nat on my modem for xbox live conection. How do I do this on the 5200 modem? I need to change it to passive.
You should be able to access your modem in your web browser using 10.1.1.1 as the address . if u haven't changed the password and user name they should both be admin. once in the settings change from static IP to dynamic ip this should solve your connection problems

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Mar 01, 2011 | Buck Legendary: The Box for Xbox 360
UDP: 88, 3074
forward it to the ip of your Xbox.
this should set the NAT on your xbox to open, not moderate.

log into modem using 192.168.2.1 in your browser and go to modem utility through browser.
then select last option on left of utility screen on left and choose reset.
this will reset modem to factory settings.
then call microsoft support there is a toll free support number in yellowpages.ca. ask them to help you setup pppoe connection in the xbox. you can set the mtu setting there also to 1492 for dsl broadband and if on cable use 1500
