Question about Xerox 8825 Copier
A vertical black line started appearing down the center of my printouts. I'm not getting any warning lights on the copier itself. Someone gave me this copier without a manual and it's worked great for the past year or two. Any suggestions (in low-tech terminology, please!) on what the problem could be? Thanks!

Black line usually caused by cleaning blade failure or drum damage
If the fault only occurs when using document feeder and not off the glass, clean the scanner glass (the narrow strip at the side of main glass if fitted)
Drum /cleaning blades are usually contained in the "throw-away" cartridge It would be nice if you could find someone with same machine you could try a swap to prove it
