Decibel is what sound is rated in.
The sound level is expressed as a line.
0 in the middle.
Negative values are to the left, Positive values to the right.
Less DB rating to the Left, more DB to the Right.
Anything above the 0 is louder. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.
Anything below the 0 is not as loud, -1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -6, etc.
It would be correct to state a 6 DB loss as -6DB.
