Hi,
One of the rear wheels on our Mac 3 squeaks big time, and is only getting louder and more obnoxious with time. It looks like it is a sealed bearing, so do I need to have the bearing repacked, or do you think I can use WD-40 to get rid of the squeak. (Note: I am worried about the WD-40 attracting dirt and causing more serious issues in the bearing assembly, so I didn't want to try it without getting some expert advise first.)
Thank you,
Jim
Hi jimmacd, W-D 40 is the perfect solution. It will not attract any dirt or cause problems in the bearing assembly.

The beaering assembly is sealed within the wheel hub (similar to a bicycle hub) -- do I just spray the WD-40 on the outside of the wheel hub, or do I need to pop the bearing assembly out of the wheel hub first?
