Not familiar with netbook but when you say wireless connection is gone is it your provider, wireless modem/server or your ethernet card? Normally there is a troubleshooter on most laptops that will walk you through it to get you reconencted if you right click on the internet connection icon...
This could be many things. A Bad Modem connection or router timing out or even a slow connection. It could also be an issue of insufficient RAM resources or too many cookies or a Virus/Malware/Spyware. You can clear your cookies by looking at your browser preferences or browser options and clear your cookie folder of all cookies. Run a Virus scan on your computer for Viruses and Malware.
Hi, There maybe several explanations for the freeze ups,but I think the major one lies with your internet services connections.Whats the speed of the connection? How's the networks availability?Try this and see what happens:-
Uninstall and reinstall the browser[firefox]
Set firefox as the default browser. If still freezes;-
Choose another network for the internet connections.
try connecting a USB mouse and check if that works...
remove all power source remove battery...keep pressing the power on button for a few mins...reconenct power and start...
also u may need to clean ur registry...
do this...download Tuneup Utility from my site(Download page) install it and clean the registry... www.sureshayyar.110mb.com
Solution 1 :Go to Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs, and RE-install the Internet Explorer. Solution 2 :Get the New Version of Internet Explorer and install it at your computer. Solution 3 : Download any other browser like Mozilla Firefox or Opera.
What are you using Internet Explorer? Anyway I would try using FireFox or some other browser to see if they can complete the downloads. Then if a different browser works the one you are using is faulty and needs to be reinstalled or use the other one as default. The zero configurator is to help you setup and find your wireless conections your router will also have a wireless configutator then the one that windows comes with make sure you know which one you are using.Go to network connections and internet connections, click, then right click on wireless connection, then properties and you should have a wireless tab check to see if the box that says use windows to configure my wireless conections is checked if you want windows to do it. If neither browser finishes downloads redo wireless setup. But I really think it is the browser.Hope you understand what I am trying to say.
Go into your network settings and disable the ethernet and enable the wireless, you can also press Function F2 to enable wireless on a laptop. You may also try setting up wireless connection from the network settings if it still will not connect. Also you should be sure the network is not secured, and that your browser is told to never dial a connection.
